Wills Maxwell, Jr. developed a passion for movies when he was 10 years old and watched a VHS of Independence Day for the first time. His life hasn’t been the same ever since. Wills won Last Seahawk Standing, a stand-up comedy contest at UNCW, as a freshman. Since then Wills has hosted Dub Idol, Last Seahawk Standing, an episode of TNL and he has also been fortunate enough to co-host the Reel Teal Film Festival twice. In his freshman year Wills wrote and direct the Flicker Film Society’s short comedy “Soul Muzak” the story of a composer who writes elevator music.
Wills is currently serving as the projection manager of Lumina Theater and he is also producing/directing/starring in his second short film “Simply Fine Necessities.”
